“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
— Albert Einstein
I'm delighted to be exhibiting again at the beautiful Oxmarket Contemporary gallery in Chichester. “Natural Beauty” runs from Tuesday 2nd September until Sunday 14th September, with a Private View from 6pm on the opening night. This is a joint exhibition for me and Sussex-based sculptor Steve Bicknell, who works in ceramic and bronze to create semi-realistic and abstract sculptures. With a shared understanding of the ability of art to express themes such as transformation, mutability and transience, we've come together to showcase our individual explorations of form and beauty through fine art photography and sculpture.
I will be exhibiting a selection of my intricate floral portraits on paper and glass, as well as a variety of my immersive seascapes. New for this exhibition will be a series of smaller, 'painterly' works which are designed to evoke the techniques of the Old Masters within the context of contemporary photography. I hope you can join me during the exhibition - please do contact me if you would like to attend the Private View on 2nd September.
