Directions

East Worthing resident Steve Gallagher is bringing a new limited edition collection of fine art photography to Worthing’s Colonnade House in Warwick Street on 22nd to 27th March. Celebrating the beauty and majesty of the natural world around us, ‘Beautiful World’ showcases striking and mesmeric seascapes with intricately detailed floral portraits. Each photograph produces a unique and bold image that adds drama and definition to any space.

‘Beautiful World’ follows on from the success of Steve’s 2021 lockdown photography series ‘From the land plenty, from the sea health’, based on Worthing’s Latin motto ‘Ex terra copiam e mari salutem’. Exhibiting locally at Ham Road Gallery, Colonnade House and West Buildings shelter, as well as at contemporary art fairs across the south of England, Steve has rapidly put himself on the fine art photography map.

All images will be displayed as professionally printed Giclée Art prints signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Steve Gallagher was born in the American Midwest and studied Visual Design and Photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After working in fashion photography in Chicago, Miami, and New York, he began to apply his skills to graphic design and built a successful career in advertising and digital design in Miami. He moved to London with his family in 2002, where he set up his own graphic design business. He relocated to Sussex in 2007 and then to Worthing in 2019, where his love of photography was reignited by the beauty of the Sussex Downs and the ever-changing nature of the Worthing shoreline and its seas. Steve’s work marries his extensive photographic skills with his graphic design expertise to produce richly detailed and unique fine art studies of flora, fauna, seascapes and landscapes.
